Pokerace® Tournament
the game
POKERACE® Tournament is a game based on the rules of poker and played with a 52 card deck on a large Plasma/LCD screen.
Each player is given a remote control and 10,000 Pokerace® Tournament Credits.
The idea of the game is to choose one of six hands dealt as to which one is most likely to win and bet on it with the credits allocated to you.
If you choose correctly over several attempts your bet may win and your credits will increase based on the odds at the time the bet was made.
The POKERACE® Tournament runs for 10 individual games after which the highest credit total wins the game and the winners receive house prizes.
Each tournament takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour. There will be regular drink breaks during game play.
The remote control how it works
Displayed on the screen are 6 hands dealt out by the computer.
At the same time displayed is the effective chance of winning as a statistic and also a graphic representation (horses racing).
At each interval of the game it is a simple process to use the remote control to place a bet on the game.
The tournament host will briefly explain the workings of the remote just before game play starts. |
